Tulsa, OK – Prophecy Print & Design Company, a creative advertising specialties shop that has been making waves in the local and regional screen printing scene, is excited to announce a new chapter in its journey. Whitney Shue, CEO, and Josiah Frohlich, Art Director, have assumed full operating control of the shop, marking a significant moment in the company’s evolution.
This journey began in 2019 when Sean Lewis founded Tier Level Threads & Stuff as a passion project in his garage with a 4-color ROQ manual press. Josiah joined the team and was a pivotal hire for the company's growth and creative capabilities. After transitioning into a 1,000 square foot facility with the manual press and the company's first ROQ auto press, the shop continued to build its foundation as a key print shop in the Tulsa area. In 2022, the company underwent a rebrand to Printed Theory, signaling a fresh direction and commitment to growth. In 2024, the business was rebranded one final time to Prophecy, reflecting the team’s belief in shaping their future and creating their own path.
Whitney joined the shop team in 2022 as the business underwent internal restructuring, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong vision for growth. Under her leadership, the shop doubled its production volume within the first year, a success the company continued to build upon in its second year. In 2023, Josiah returned to the shop after exploring entrepreneurship and running his own print shop, and together, they have worked to further elevate Prophecy’s capabilities, expand its clientele, and bring ideas to life.
“From day one, Whitney was all in,” said Sean Michael Lewis, founder of Tier Level and former owner of Prophecy. “She helped build the culture, the customer experience, and the quality standards that define Prophecy today. This isn’t just a sale, it’s the fulfillment of something we talked about for years: creating a company where our people could one day become owners themselves.”
“What we’ve proven here,” added Lewis, “is that ownership doesn’t always come from the outside. Sometimes the best leaders are already working alongside you. We believe in building paths to ownership, and Whitney’s journey is just the first chapter in that legacy.”
In 2024, Prophecy made a significant investment in a ROQ 12-color automatic press, greatly enhancing the shop’s capabilities. This investment not only increased the speed and efficiency of production, enabling quicker turnaround times for clients, but also provided the ability to scale design options, further elevating the quality of service Prophecy can offer to its growing list of clients.
"We’re incredibly grateful to work with such incredible clients who trust us with their vision," said Whitney Shue. "Clients like FC Tulsa, The Gathering Place, Tulsa Oilers, OKIE Brand, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Guthrie Green have placed their trust in us to create high-quality, impactful merchandise, and that’s something we’re extremely proud of. These relationships are a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication."
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work for myself, to be able to help lead Prophecy to new heights, and to be in a position where Josiah and I can build this business together,” said Whitney Shue, who is now responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations. “It’s an amazing feeling to work alongside someone who shares this passion, and we’re both truly thankful for the trust that Sean and the team placed in us. We’re excited to continue growing Prophecy and making our vision a reality.”
Josiah Frohlich, who was with the company in its early stages, added, “Getting to work for myself and collaborate with someone as driven as Whitney is a dream come true. The opportunity to take Prophecy to the next level is something we both deeply appreciate, and we’re committed to continuing to scale and innovate.”
The team is thrilled for the future and is focused on continuing to bring exceptional service, creative designs, and high-quality prints to their clients. Prophecy is ready to make its mark as a powerhouse and looks forward to the future of the company as they continue to build and grow.
